A Guide to Using BTCWG in Your Classroom

We know that approaching topics like gender diversity and discrimination can be difficult, especially in the classroom.  To help teachers extract the most from having Breaking the Code with Gabriella in their classroom—and to understand the importance and relevancy of the book—we created the following teaching guide.

This 11-page document outlines the purpose of the picture book, its importance in regard to the current STEM workforce, and ideas and best guidelines for its use in the classroom.

The book and guide have already been implemented in hundreds of classrooms and over 15 school districts across Illinois. Feel free to get in contact with any questions regarding material or availability.
